Delve deeper with Dive Wimbledon’s Spring & Summer talks

As the weather warms and thoughts return to diving it is always good to upskill our general knowledge on the species and environments that make SCUBA diving so amazing.

Dive Wimbledon is hosting 5 themed talks around ocean conservation in 2024. Spaces are limited and on a first come first served basis, entry is a £3 donation per person that goes directly to the Yorkshire Seal Group for their outreach and seal protection work. There will also be the opportunity to purchase some discounted dive shop gear on talk nights.

About the speaker: Matt Barnes is a PADI Master Instructor who has spent over 20 years working both in the dive industry and managing a variety of marine projects. As a passionate conservationist he has worked across a number of disciplines including coral restoration, seal rehabilitation, manta research, turtle hatchery management and marine pollution mitigation. On these informal 60-minute talks he will delve into these specialist topics.

*There is the opportunity to gain the PADI AWARE Coral Reef Conservation speciality rating if attending the coral talk - £40 including PADI certification.
