The PADI sponsored Emergency First Response (EFR) course is a first aid and CPR course for all as it is not diving related. It is however a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course if you haven't completed a similar course within the last 2 years.

The Emergency First Response Instructor course is a prerequisite for the PADI Instructor Open Water Scuba Instructor Examination but can be completed by any holder of a valid EFR certification.
