PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
This course is designed to hone your skills as a dive educator and give you a thorough understanding of how to make best use of the PADI system of diver education to teach the sport you love and teach it well.
- The OWSI course runs over 4 days (the last 4 days of an IDC) and includes academic, confined water and open water teaching sessions.
- This part of the IDC is conducted by PADI Course Director Paul Toomer. Paul has been running IDC's all over the world for the past 5 years and is one of the top Course Directors (Platinum status) in the world.

- Upon successful completion of this course you will take the instructor Exams (IE). The IE is an independant evaluation of your diving and educational skills before becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor

- Be certified as a PADI Assistant Instructor.
- Have a minimum of 60 logged dives with night, deep and navigation experience. (100 required to attend the Instructor Examination)
- A valid HSE Dive medical (within 12 months) - contact Roger for more info.
- Be current with your EFR / CPR & 1st Aid training (within the last 24 months)
- To complete the Instructor Examination (IE) with PADI you will need to be an Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI). This course can be completed in one day before or just after your instructor course.
- Minimum 18 years of age

- £450 on it's own or £750 if completing the full Instructor Development Course which includes the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and Open Water Instructor Course (OWSI).
- Instructor Crew Pack (£243.81 -Same as for AI so only required once)

- Next course : 24th - 28th April 2010 then another on 4th - 8th August 2010
- PADI Assistant Instructor plus PADI Open Water Instructor Courses. Next course 21, 22, 27, 28th March and 24-28th April then another from 31 July to 8 August
