PADI Discover Scuba Diving

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is a 2 hour 'taster' session. This is a good option for those who are undecided about learning to dive as it gives you the opportunity to experience breathing underwater in very shallow depth without commiting to a full certification course. If you know you would like to learn to dive there is no need to complete the Discover Scuba Diving course and you can go straight on to the PADI Junior Open Water Referral course which will save you days in the classroom on your holiday or the full PADI Junior Open Water Diver course.

DETAILS	Each child will receive the PADI Discover Scuba Diving booklet and a brief medical questionnaire. The session starts with an explanation of how the equipment works and the most important safety rules before the fun begins with an hour in the shallow water experiencing diving for the first time.
REQUIREMENTS	Swimming kit, towel and a £1 coin for the lockers.
COMPLETION	Now your child knows how safe and easy diving they may like to take the next step and move on to PADI Junior Open Water Referral course or full PADI Junior Open Water Diver course.
PREREQUISITES	A simple medical form needs to be completed Minimum 10 years of age

LOCATION	We use several pools in Wandsworth, Merton, Kingston and Lambeth in South West London including Tooting Leisure Centre, Putney Leisure Centre, Streatham Leisure Centre, Southfields Community College and Wimbledon Lesiure Centre in London.
